The HamSCI display data consists of daily radio spot density plots visualizing amateur radio spots across six frequency bands (1.8 MHz, 3.5 MHz, 7 MHz, 14 MHz, 21 MHz, and 28 MHz). Each spot represents the midpoint between a successful transmitting-receiving pair.
The plots are organized into two columns:
Left Column displays the global distribution of radio spots on a map, with the number of spots represented in log scale as color intensity.
Right Column displays the number of radio spots as a function of the midpoint solar local time (hour) and propagation range (km), also presented in log scale.
These plots provide insights into the spatial and temporal variations of radio propagation.
