ICON Daytime Oplus climatology. In this, 48-day windows of data
from the L2.6 v03 product are collected into regular altitude, longitude, latitude, and local time bins.
Uncertainty weighted mean and standard deviations of each parameter are reported in this file.
Note that NMF2 and HMF2 data do not have an altitude component, OPLUS data has an altitude component.
This single file spans the whole mission

Binned HMF2. Height of the peak of the F2 layer from Retrieval, in WGS.
Electron density at the peak of the F2 layer from retrieval. Uncertainty-weighted mean value of NMF2, taken over all good quality L2 datapoints in a 48-day time-span, as a function of longitude, latitude, time. Derived from ICON_L26_NMF2.
Uncertainty-weighted mean value of number density of O+, taken over all good quality L2 datapoints in a 48-day time-span, as a function of altitude, longitude, latitude, time. Derived from ICON_L26_OPLUS.
Number of data points in each 48 day average, as a function of longitude, latitude, time.
1 standard deviation of the good column HMF2 values used to compute the mean, as a function of longitude, latitude, time.
Electron density at the peak of the F2 layer from retrieval. 1 standard deviation of the good column NMF2 values used to compute the mean, as a function of longitude, latitude, time.
1 standard deviation of the good O+ values used to compute the mean, as a function of altitude, longitude, latitude, time.
Altitude corresponding to the binned quantities, in WGS84.
Local time binned in 0.5 hour intervals, local time +/- 0.25 hours.
Latitude of the EUV data, binned in 5 degree intervals, latitude +/- 2.5 degrees. Derived from ICON_EUV_L26_Latitude.
Longitude of the EUV data, binned in 15 degree intervals, longitude +/- 7.5 degrees. Derived from ICON_EUV_L26_Longitude.
