Description

PADRE SHARP Level0 FITS data are uncalibrated hard X-ray data obtained by the Solar Hard X-ray Polarimeter (SHARP) instrument on the Solar Polarization and Directivity X-Ray Experiment (PADRE) CubeSat observatory. SHARP is a hard X-ray Compton photopolarimeter designed to measure the intensity and linear polarization of solar flare hard X-ray emission. The Level0 FITS files contain low-level SHARP data converted to FITS format for archive access and for use in calibration and higher-level data processing. These data support investigations of solar flare hard X-ray polarization and the angular distribution of flare-accelerated electrons.
