Description

PUNCH Level 3 intermediate science mosaic images in the clear polarization state. The product contains white-light unpolarized intensity after F-corona subtraction but before starfield removal.

The PUNCH team continues to generate the CIM product as an intermediate processing product, but CIM is no longer distributed through the Solar Data Analysis Center because of its intermediate nature and large storage requirements. This SPASE record is retained for historical reference.

CTM is the corresponding final clear trefoil science product after removal of F-corona, stray-light, and starfield backgrounds and full calibration. CIM and CTM are distinct processing stages; CTM does not directly supersede CIM.

This dataset is a member of the Collection of PUNCH Level-3 Science Image datasets. Per instructions from the PUNCH team, reference to the entire Collection, including the DOI below, should be used when this and other member datasets in the Collection are cited:
