AeroCube-6 (AC6) CubeSat

The AeroCube 6 cubesat is a pair of nanosatellite for technical research. They were built and operated by the Aerospace Corporation. Aerocube 6 represents a major upgrate in the Aerocube program as it introduces a redesigned cubesat structure and technical upgrades. It features a suite of micro dosimeters for measuring radiation in the space environment.

The AC6 Principal Investigator is Dr. T.P. O Brien. Aerospace and government personnel who contributed to the AeroCube-6 mission: J. Bern Blake, D. Hinkley, C. Venturini, J. Avrett, D. Mabry, W. Crain, C. Nguyen, B. Hardy, J. Lee, D. Turner, D. Rowen, C. Coffman, B. Barney, P. Doyle, J. Fuller, D. Pedrino, G. Maul, D. Rumsey, A. Chin, R. Stevens, A Schutte, D. Arndt, and E. Mazur. Those wishing to use AC6 data are strongly urged to notify the PI of the topic of their work. This will enable the AC6 team to assist in use of the data and to track the instruments utility to the broader community.
