GOES-19 Extreme Ultraviolet and X-ray Irradiance Sensors (EXIS) X-Ray Sensor (XRS) science-quality Level 1b data in daily aggregated NetCDF-4 files. The product contains calibrated 1-second solar X-ray irradiance measurements from four detectors: XRS-A1 and XRS-A2 in the 0.05-0.4 nm band, and XRS-B1 and XRS-B2 in the 0.1-0.8 nm band. The high-sensitivity A1/B1 detectors use single photodiodes; the lower-sensitivity A2/B2 detectors use quadrant photodiodes. Separate corrected quadrant currents, data-quality and invalid-condition flags, observation times, and instrument and spacecraft ancillary measurements are included. NOAA NCEI generates the science-quality L1b product from GOES-R EXIS Level 0 source data using retrospectively improved processing and updated calibrations, and aggregates the original 30-second segments into daily files. This science-quality processing stream is separate from the operational Level 1b product used for real-time space-weather operations. The NetCDF archive can contain missing or flagged samples. NOAA generally recommends the science-quality Level 2 XRS products for scientific analysis.

Solar X-ray irradiance measured by the XRS-A1 high-sensitivity single photodiode (solar minimum channel) in the 0.05-0.4 nm band. The NetCDF variable is calculated assuming a flat spectrum; the recorded irradiance is a band-integrated energy flux at the spacecraft.
Solar X-ray irradiance measured by the XRS-A2 lower-sensitivity quadrant photodiode (solar maximum channel) in the 0.05-0.4 nm band. The NetCDF variable is calculated assuming a flat spectrum; the recorded irradiance is a band-integrated energy flux at the spacecraft.
Solar X-ray irradiance measured by the XRS-B1 high-sensitivity single photodiode (solar minimum channel) in the 0.1-0.8 nm band. The NetCDF variable is calculated assuming a flat spectrum; the recorded irradiance is a band-integrated energy flux at the spacecraft.
Solar X-ray irradiance measured by the XRS-B2 lower-sensitivity quadrant photodiode (solar maximum channel) in the 0.1-0.8 nm band. The NetCDF variable is calculated assuming a flat spectrum; the recorded irradiance is a band-integrated energy flux at the spacecraft.
Corrected electric current from quadrant 1 of the XRS-A2 (solar maximum) quadrant photodiode. Four separately recorded quadrant currents provide information relevant to X-ray flare localization and photodiode response.
Corrected electric current from quadrant 2 of the XRS-A2 (solar maximum) quadrant photodiode. Four separately recorded quadrant currents provide information relevant to X-ray flare localization and photodiode response.
Corrected electric current from quadrant 3 of the XRS-A2 (solar maximum) quadrant photodiode. Four separately recorded quadrant currents provide information relevant to X-ray flare localization and photodiode response.
Corrected electric current from quadrant 4 of the XRS-A2 (solar maximum) quadrant photodiode. Four separately recorded quadrant currents provide information relevant to X-ray flare localization and photodiode response.
Corrected electric current from quadrant 1 of the XRS-B2 (solar maximum) quadrant photodiode. Four separately recorded quadrant currents provide information relevant to X-ray flare localization and photodiode response.
Corrected electric current from quadrant 2 of the XRS-B2 (solar maximum) quadrant photodiode. Four separately recorded quadrant currents provide information relevant to X-ray flare localization and photodiode response.
Corrected electric current from quadrant 3 of the XRS-B2 (solar maximum) quadrant photodiode. Four separately recorded quadrant currents provide information relevant to X-ray flare localization and photodiode response.
Corrected electric current from quadrant 4 of the XRS-B2 (solar maximum) quadrant photodiode. Four separately recorded quadrant currents provide information relevant to X-ray flare localization and photodiode response.
