        "Description": "SHARP, the Solar Hard X-ray Polarimeter, is one of the scientific instruments on the PADRE mission. It is a photon-counting hard X-ray polarimeter designed to measure the polarization of non-thermal X-rays emitted during the impulsive phase of solar flares. SHARP measures the azimuthal distribution of scattered hard X-rays to determine the degree of X-ray polarization, with a design Minimum Detectable Polarization of 5% at a 99% confidence level. The instrument has an energy range of approximately 5 keV to 150 keV and an average energy resolution of approximately 8 keV at 59.5 keV. It time-tags individual photons with a time resolution better than 1 ms. Its field of view is about 6 degrees, but it does not provide spatial resolution.",
