The NOAA 11 spacecraft was launched
on 1988-09-24 into a ~850 km, 99 deg inclination (sun synchronous)
orbit. Principal instruments were the Advanced Very High Resolution
Radiometer (AVHRR), TIROS Operational Vertial Sounder (TOVS),
and the Solar Backscatter UV Radiometer (SBUV/2). Data were
provided at least until 1992
